Recycling of household waste
Organic fertilizer production
The rampant urbanization in Bamako, as in all the major cities of West Africa generates an exponential amount of garbage that accumulates on the outskirts of cities and sustainably degrades the environment.
In view of this, the TOGUNA Group has thought about how to recycle this waste in order to obtain an organic concentrate that is then converted into fertilizer made from non-chemical, organic materials, thanks to a unique technological process. This know-how has existed in Europe for decades and it is time for Africa to adopt it.
TOGUNA in this area will still be the precursor.
The Toguna New Project provides for the construction of an organic waste recycling plant.
The Feasibility Study is underway with sub-regional and international partners to achieve this investment, the costs and employment opportunity are very important. A first test phase will be launched in 2014.
